Bellevue Public Library Adult Displays for March

Every month there are special adult displays at BPL– some are new displays and some are new books in ongoing displays. These displays are located on the black tower, on the front and back of the arch going into the adult reading area, on a bookshelf at the far end of the circulation desk, and at the information/reference desk area.. All titles are available for check-out.

Often the displays are based on special events, programs or themes. Sometimes the display topics are suggested by staff, but we also welcome suggestions from patrons!

Current permanent displays with moving titles include New Large Print, Next to New (books that have just left the new fiction and nonfiction areas), and Adult Graphic Novels.
This month’s new displays include titles about Famous Women in History (Women’s History Month), Everything Irish ( Irish-American Heritage Month - St. Patrick’s Day), Piece Together a Good Read (fiction on quilting, knitting, stitchery, and scrapbooking- National Craft Month), Nebraska Authors, Movies (DVD’s) based on writings by Nebraska authors (Nebraska Statehood March 1), and Survival Stories.
If you are in a hurry, these displays can help you find a great read without searching  the stacks.
The titles might be in a favorite genre or introduce you to a new author you might enjoy!

Suggestions are always welcome for future displays!  Let us know your thoughts in comments or email Jane Crider at jane.crider@bellevue.net.
