Share your hopes and dreams for your community at a special event sponsored by the Bellevue Public Library, which is kicking off a months-long strategic planning process with a public town hall meeting on Thursday, February 5th.

The meeting will be held at the Muller Administration Building multipurpose room (garden level) on the Bellevue University campus starting at 7 p.m.

This is your opportunity to talk about the better future of Bellevue and how the library could help make it happen. Bring your ideas and questions and any documents you want to share with your library’s leadership.

Libraries are changing as our educational, economic, technological and cultural expectations are changing. What are the new services, programs, and resources that are needed to support the health and welfare of Bellevue in the coming years? Let’s start by talking about our community’s future.

The evening will be facilitated by Pat Wagner, a nationally known library consultant with over 35 years of experience working with communities all over the US – and over 20 years working with Nebraska libraries. Pat is known for her practical and good-humored approach.

We hope to attract a cross-section of the Bellevue community, so whoever you are, you are invited! For more information, contact Julie Dinville, Acting Director, at the Bellevue Public Library (402-293-3157).
